A couple of days the official calendar for 2021 Tokyo Game Show revealed, and immediately people noticed the absence of Nintendo . Although the Japanese company did not say anything to respect at the time, today the Big N has confirmed they will not attend this event.
Through its official account, Nintendo said it has no plans to attend TGS 2021 . However, it will support the presence of some indie games from other companies. This was what they commented:
Nintendo will not display posts or game titles in the '2021 Tokyo Game Show Online' to be held from 30 September 2021. Only cooperate on display independent of other gaming companies.

Alongside this, Square Enix, those who did attend the TGS 2021, they plan to offer a new look at Project Triangle Strategy, the tactical RPG that will come exclusively to the Switch in the future. While Nintendo does not offer a clear explanation for this decision, remember that rumors indicate a Direct would take place this month , so business would rather have a single room for them, rather than sharing the spotlight.
